Knights in Vienna

SAVE the DATE:  The evening of  January 14, 2012  is the annual “Knights in Vienna” orchestra gala!!  Tickets will be available to purchase or pick up (if paid online) at the Winter Concert on December 14, 2011.  More details please visit the “Knights in Vienna” page.

The Newport Orchestra had an eventful October from the annual retreat, to opening concert and String Bash with Tyee Middle School on November 1.  Event photos and recordings are available through the Photos and Videos tabs.   Events can’t happen without the help of our wonderful volunteers.  Many thanks to Arthur Shaw, Chase Chang, Janice Lo, Kathy McFarlane, Katie Boyd, Kim Fukuda, Kim Wong, Feng Chou, Don Smith, Amy Salomon, Peggy Kwok, Sebastian Ho, Julienne Dance, Vicki Liao.
We need more volunteers for Knights in Vienna, from setting up and decorating the room/tables, to plating the desserts, supporting silent auctions and raffle prizes to clean up; from an hour to 8 hours of availability on January 14, 2012.  No skill nor experience is required.  Plus, it’s fun!  Please see the “Knights in Vienna” tab for more specifics and contact the sub-committee chair based on your area(s) of interest and availability.
